About Sara
Sara Stevenson was born in Salisbury, NC. Her passion for photography developed at the age of 12 after being introduced to it, by her father. Sara spent the last 38 years working in various capacities of photography. She has completed photography classes at Central Piedmont Community College and receives a diploma from the New York Institute of Photography. According to Sara, "Photography opened my mind in a way that allows me to see things differently. I get awestruck by my senses and surroundings when I'm viewing the world through the lens of a camera." Her love for photography has inspired her to visit many places around the world, like Egypt.
Sara has a passion for travel/documentary photography. She has traveled to many places and had an incredible opportunity to see many fascinating things. She has traveled with mission teams, as they serve others at home and around the globe, to document their work to help promote," Why go?"
A picture for mission work doesn't only say 1000 words but, evokes 1000 feelings!
Sara resides in Pineville, North Carolina with her loving husband. She has two wonderful children and two precious grandchildren.
